a record of experiences

I am issued with a white Nissan single cab pick-up truck D22 series. In our compound, 212 Markham Road, some employees of K. K. Kingston aren’t issued with one but can use either of the cars that are free. There are three single cabs pick-ups and a Suzuki 4-wheel drive automatic transmission in the compound which can be used when available.

The number shown in the picture is the serial number of the car. All Kingston cars have sticker as such in the wind shield and have the logos (see post: the company) at both doors. Other companies in PNG have their own way of numbering the cars but usually have their own logo stickers pasted outside the doors.

Driver’s license - Coming here, I have a Philippine driving license. I used it for 6 months before I became eligible for a Papua New Guinea license. Some of my fellow Filipinos had their license only after 1 week of stay in PNG.
